In this session Paul and Narelle will show how routines can be used to streamline the teaching of mathematics and allow students to focus on the mathematics embedded in a task or game.
About Dr Paul Swan
Dr Paul Swan completed his PhD in 2002, His research involved finding out how students make computational choices. He worked as a teacher educator for 18 years. He now is an independent consultant who writes and develops educational support materials which can be found on www.drpaulswan.com.au.
About Narelle Rice
Narelle Rice has 20 years teaching experience and gave up teaching to support her Autistic son. She is the developer of Bond Blocks (www.bondblocks.com.au) and works with Paul to develop further materials to support teachers.
