Use the power of visual maths to develop mental computation strategies with theseĀ 3 key habits

Alex Box

Join Alex on an exploration of visual mathematics — why it's so important and three key teaching and learning habits to make visual maths opportunities a core component in school. Leave with practical ideas and resources to help students use mathematics to communicate their own ideas, interact and play with concepts, learn and build confidence when operating with numbers, and simply enjoy number concepts for their own sake. This session is for primary and secondary maths teachers.
