60+ hours of 'on demand' PD
NTA PD sessions are a perfect mix of practical and research-based ideas. The trainings are designed to be short & sharp so you can take your learning and apply it straight into your classroom/school setting. Almost all trainings are less than an hour and are differentiated to cater for the range of teacher experience levels. When you join the NTA you gain immediate access to all the PD sessions in the portal.
Teaching Zone
Wondering how to explain the connection between a fraction, decimal and percentage? Or looking for the best way to teach rounding numbers? In the NTA "Teaching Zone" you will find short instructional videos which demonstrate the language and models used to teach a range of concepts across the F-6 Maths curriculum.
Community Hub
Within the NTA, members are able to ask questions of Dr Ange whenever they arise. You may be in need of a resource recommendation, want to check how to best approach a certain topic or need guidance on helping a specific student. Dr Ange is there to support you anytime during your membership! The NTA Community Hub also provides you the opportunity to network and learn alongside other members.
Resources
The NTA provides an ever-growing bank of resources to support your Numeracy teaching and leadership. From recommendations of picture story books according to content, to sample planning documents and assessments, the NTA saves you time by curating lists of the best resources available.
Monthly LIVE Webinars
Dr Ange conducts monthly live webinars for all NTA members. These are designed to be practical sessions that help you take your learnings straight into the classroom. If you can't attend the live session, all recordings are uploaded to the NTA portal for you to access at your convenience. NTA members also have FREE access to all paid public webinars Ange provides throughout the year.

NTA Features
NTA LIVE Q & A
Every month, you have the opportunity to ask Dr Ange questions about Numeracy teaching and learning in a LIVE Zoom call. It might be related to a child in your class, an upcoming unit of work, or a question related to the PD you have completed in the portal. This session is recorded and encourages you to keep moving forward in your learning journey.
NTA Success Path
The NTA is broken into 4 distinct Stages. According to your Numeracy teaching confidence and experience you will be provided with relevant PD and simple, actionable steps. The "NTA Success Path" will keep you accountable and provide tangible goals to work towards.
NTA Monthly Masterclass
Each month Dr Ange releases a new training into the NTA portal. This session takes a deep dive into a content area, teaching approach or strategy. Each month you are encouraged to apply the learnings from the masterclass in your own school or class and report back to Dr Ange on your action-taking so she can support and encourage you.
